Manasquan High School7

Manasquan, NJ | Monmouth County

My son came to Manasquan his junior year after a very poor experience at a private school. This was the BEST decision ! The faculty, students and administrators were supportive and encouraging. He has blossomed and has received a superior education. He has been admitted to all the colleges he applied to with scholarships. The difference was that that "got" him. He was not a jock or could not be put in the "box" at the other school. The Manasquan community accepted him as he was...a great person!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I moved to NJ my freshman year and attended MHS.I have yet to net one nice person out of all of the people I have met. The only priorities here are 1. Do drugs and 2. Party/go to the beach. The people here are just absolutely nasty compared to somewhere like Washington, where I moved from. I come home wanting to kill myself everyday. However, the education here is top notch, some of the best teachers I've ever had.

Manasquan is the highlight of my high school career. i came in as a new junior and everyone was so friendly. Very easy to make friendsand teachers make it so easy to do well because they are ALWAYS there to give you extra help. You can literally ask any teacher for extra help any day of the week and they'll be there for you (before or after school, whatever you want) there are lots of activities to get involved in and they have an amazing course selection, including being able to receive pre medical credits from UMDNJ. I am currently a physiology major and completing the pre medical program at the college of new jersey, and manasquans classes gave me an entire semester head start toward pre med. can't say enough good things about it, as good as a public (and even better then some private) school education gets. go big blue!

Great School. My children all loved it. Check the colleges the kids chose and got into . Amazing teachers and always something for kids to do to help the feeling of belonging. We could not be happier. Favorite teacher, Mr Gordon

Manasquan High is probably one of the best schools in Monmouth County, and the state of New Jersey. They have small class sizes, and high test scores, and I was shocked at how well the teachers taught.

Thorough and efficient education. Teachers are competent/willing professionals. Administration is very slow to identify aggressorsand allows victims to be punished, tarnished, and changed for life. This school is desparate for police presence, video surveilance, and parent accountability. I am amazed, not surprised, that parents expect the village to take care of their problems. I set my children up to succeed, but when bullies control even one hallway or classroom, the lesson is lost.
